The BGB, USA got together when they became involved in a Christian infomercial project, now called; “THE MASTER’S CALL”.  

In response to a request from award winning Christian television producer and film maker; Warren Marcus, The BGB wrote the theme song for the project, and the song is aptly named, “THE MASTER’S CALL” (People Helping Hurting People).  

When the ministry song was first conceived, Buddy and Glenn Hudson were in search of a master musician and studio engineer to produce a quality soundtrack. They knew there was only one choice, Mr. Billy Worley, who is uniquely qualified to do the job. 

To their most pleasant surprise, Buddy, Glenn, and Billy discovered that wonderful musical things happened when they became three, so they became “The BGB”. They decided to do a full album in support of the hungry hurting people in the nation of Israel, God’s chosen people. The ministry of People Helping Hurting People facilitates this task. 

People Helping Hurting People is more than just a name, it’s The Master’s Call! The name became a call from The Master.  Presented here, in this very special CD, are the sounds of His call to us. Please answer the Master’s Call!! Get the BGB, CD*, TODAY!

Buddy Hudson is singer/songwriter/guitarist, who has worked with a number of bands over the years, (including rock Gospel bands), but most notably, his progressive Country band, called, “Savannah Jack”.

He was the founding member and owner of the band and led the group to over 15 years of successful endeavors. Buddy’s tasks were many, but mainly; lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and manager. “Savannah Jack”, in it’s long career, has worked with many professional Nashville Stars, including our beloved Ricky Van Shelton; Country Music Star, Gospel Star, and friend. 

Buddy is versatile in many musical styles and is an excellent lead singer and harmony vocalist. He is something of an “icon” in his original home state of Virginia, and is well respected for his many musical accomplishments elsewhere as well, being known as the best Country singer around! He is the mentor of many a singer, including his brother Glenn. “Savannah Jack” ended it’s long and successful run in the winter of 2003, but Buddy continues to sing and record his own music. His musical focus now is the expression of his love and faith in Jesus Christ, and his family. Buddy penned 4 of his own songs on this album, and also co-wrote 2 more with Glenn.

Glenn Hudson has been writing, singing, and playing guitar since childhood, along with his brother Buddy. Glenn has been in a number of bands over the years, including some with Buddy. This album is the first time they have worked together in a number of years, and is a special time for them.  

Glenn is a versatile singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He enjoys writing and has an inventory of songs, which he has written over the years, numbering well over 500, (back when the counting stopped). He has focused on writing songs of faith and crossover songs, which are clean and appropriate enough for anyone to hear. In his archives are many Christian songs, country songs, rock, classical, and blues. Life songs, heart songs, and love songs. Glenn wrote 5 of the songs on this record, and he also co-wrote 2 more with Buddy.

Buddy and Glenn share a special bond in music, which originated in very early childhood, at the amazing time of The Beatles. At that moment, (when together they saw The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan show), they decided what they wanted to do; sing, play, and write songs!  No doubt, you will hear “Beatles” influences on this album, along with many other legendary bands, writers, and performers.

Billy Worley is quite the musician. He is an exceptionally accomplished guitarist, pianist, keyboard player, songwriter, and vocalist.  He is also quite gifted as a producer in the studio, and is mostly responsible for the wonderful arrangements you will hear on The Masters Call Album. He has diverse musical roots in common with Buddy and Glenn, including the same childhood “Beatles” experience. He is the perfect match for the brothers, and they for him. 

Like Buddy and Glenn, Billy has an extensive musical history and list of accomplishments to his credit.  To note one, Billy

was in Buddy’s group, “Savannah Jack”, for well over ten years as lead guitarist and band leader. Time would not allow us to list his experience and accomplishments regarding his many other  projects and endeavors. His dedication and discipline are admired by all.  

Billy has brought his magnificence to the songs of Buddy and Glenn, and has his own archive of songs for The BGB.

He contributed 2 songs to this project, with many others awaiting their calls to service. Billy’s musical approach, in a word, is impeccable. Whatever kind of music or instrument he plays, it is impeccably and beautifully done. Buddy and Glenn wish to gratefully acknowledge his tremendous contribution to this project. They put it this way; “We brought him our carefully drawn sketches, and Billy turned them all into magnificent works of art”!
